Pharmacy Process Flow

Research has shown that workflow redesign improves dispensing activity and free's up more time that can be used for interaction with customers. Most importantly the process needs to reduce handling errors an all stages. By breaking the process down into its constituent parts, each stage can be looked at individually and unique methods applied to each one to make the process as safe as possible.

A good exercise is to sketch your current dispensary process flow, our customers often find places in their systems where staff may work on top of each over or places where the system gets bottlenecked. Poorly planned workflow can result in confusion fatigue, muddled processes and increased risk of error.
